Kharhorin Monastery

4 July

Day 221: Central Mongolia

In the morning we visited the Monastery, which was really beautiful, in really Tibetan Buddhist style.

And before entering the Monastery some of local entertainment :D

During our way to the town, we stopped at the restaurant for lunch. Everybody ordered and food was coming slowly, when Marketa asked Ogna why her salad was not coming yet. The guide suddenly started to shout on Marketa telling that she is waiting too and the food takes time to be prepared, and she also threw a napkin to Marketa. We were in shock since it was really unexpected to have this kind of reaction from the tour guide…well, we’ll see what’s next.

Then again around 8 hours driving and we have arrived to the second biggest town in Mongolia, close to the Taikhar stone (which we are visiting tomorrow). We walked up to the hill and enjoyed the view of the town and the temple on the top.

On the way we stopped to take some pictures of one of many nomads Mongolian families...

and this is the team :D

we arrived to our "guesthouse" and as usual had some beers before going to sleep :D
