Fist stop - Mui Ne

Day 98
Mui Ne

6:30 meeting at the travel agency and waiting for our bus to come pick us up.

Super sleeper bus, as you can see, was pretty original construction :-D 3 rows and 2 floors of beds, which were pretty short for Juli and Luciano :-D

5 hours to Mui Ne and fist thing as usual is to walk around and to look for a hotel. Mui Ne did not look at all like Vietnam. It is small, charming, coastal town, with many nice hotels and expensive resorts, one of the best places in Asia for kite surfing. It is a place where wealthy Vietnamese come for a weekend from Saigon and as well, where LOTS of Russians come to practice kite surfing or just to spend vacation.

The other thing is that it is quite difficult to find cheap accomodation in Mui Ne...well, cheap comparing to Saigon or Can tho :-D Finally we found a place, with air con, hot water and looking pretty nice for 15USD double room (around 10 euros).

And went to have lunch to the restaurant just in front of our hotel. The food was really good and in spite of the fact that Mui Ne looks like a posh place - prices were same as everywhere (beer for 50 euro cents haha)

After lunch we decided to have a drink in one of the bars, and found this one, Sankara bar, which looks like a posh place somewhere on Mediteranian coast..Incredible!!

And here, in this really beautiful posh place, the beer was 1,5 euros (which is like 3 times more then in any other bar :-D

At the end of the day, we had to decide where to have dinner. Walking a bit further from the center, just on the beach, we saw many simple places, with plastic tables and chairs, which were offering fresh seafood and food for the grilled meal. We chose the one below, and had a fabulous seafood dinner with beer for around 3 euros/person.

Next stop - happy hour in a pool bar. 2 mojitos for 1,5 euros and free pool!!!Unfortunately for guys (Luciano and Juli), who were playing against me, I won!!! haha (still can't belive it haha)

And after the pool, we decided to have the last beer and met a group of 4 Russians (one of them was a singer and was playing guitar and singing Russian songs) and two norvegian guys (who just saw a group of people and decided to join). We have joined too and had last beer for today with this "strange company" :-D

Tomorrow we are going to see Mui Ne sand dunes, a private jeep witha driver for 4 of us!!
