Simply because Juli had 6,000 points acumulated in his Iberia card (frequent flyer card from the Airline company Iberia - for each flight they give you points and afterwards you can use them to buy tickets without paying money).

Then i cheked internet sites as http://www.losviajeros.com/ for traveling tips and found a guy called Inti, who was offering help in planing trips to Costa Rica. We got in touch by mail and he proposed us a sensible route for 8 days and hotels to stay. He was not the last altruist on Earth or charity organisation worker, he got comissions from the hotels where we were supposed to stay and actually he is trying to open his own hotel in Costa Rica, so we were kind of experimental clients :-)So, we got everything prepared and ready for the adventure!
