Conclusions New Zealand

What we loved about New Zealand:

EVERYTHING! WE LOVED NEW ZEALAND :-D

Ok, now seriously:

1. Breathtaking nature

2. Amazing wildlife and unspoiled environment!

3. The sky is simply AMAZING, during the night it is full of stars (really full, not like in Europe) and during the day the clouds are simply magic!

4. Concentration of things you can see just driving a car through the country: mountains, lakes, glaciers, penguins and sea lions, glow warm caves and geysers – all mixed with bungy jumping, kayaking, trekking and hiking.

5. Tourist information that you can get everywhere – in the bus stops, any shops, gas stations, even supermarkets –all kind of maps (good ones) and trips and tips!

6. People are nice and friendly!!! Easy going and curious about other cultures

7. Prices are cheap! (well not like in Asia, but half price then Australia, similar to Spain , may be cheaper for some stuff – beer in the supermarket 50 euro cents!!! Almost same price as 1 liter of petrol actually:-D

8. NZ should be a perfect place to have your own house, raise kids and keep relaxed family life, enjoying the nature.

The imperfections of NZ:

1. Local food and culture is very similar to English (Maori culture is exception, but in present the rituals are mostly performed only for touristic purpose. In real life Maori people live same lives as kiwis, totally integrated in the society and Maori language is almost not used)

2. For Europeans living in NZ could seem a bit boring may be…Traveling is marvelous, but living? not sure… The biggest city is Auckland (1 mil population), capital Wellington has 400,000 population – seems alive, but not crazy and hectic like European capitals at all. May be it is a good thing?

3. Ocean water is a bit chilly for our taste :-D
