Fist and last day in Kunming

Kunming

We arrived to Kunming at 5 am in the morning, had soup at one of 24 hours restaurants at the train station and took a taxi to the airport (only 10 Yuan – 1 euro for the ride to the airport :D

We argued again with China Eastern airlines, but finally accepted 400 Yuan they offered to pay us in the first place and left the place – I guess in China you should be happy just getting that money :DD

Kunming was nothing extraordinary at all..............

We walked a bit, but since we were exhausted after the short night on the train, we just went to one of the hostels I had leaflet from somewhere. It was called Cloudland and we stayed there the whole day, eating, watching DVDs in the chilling room with sofas, using its toilets and wireless connection for the internet.

Finally at 5 pm we took a night train to Guilin, and then we will go to Yangshuo by bus. Yangshuo is one of the top visited places in South China, let’s see if it can surprise us haha

By the way, our friend Gisele from Guangzhou, is coming to Yangshuo to spend this weekend with us. She will leave on Sunday night and we will leave on Tuesday night to Guangzhou, where we stay with her again!
