Dali

Unfortunately we arrived to train station too late and the train (the only train per day) was gone. So we took a bus and in 4 hours, we reached Dali.

We’ve heard so much about Dali and were expecting a lot from this town, but it looked much poorer then Lijang….although there were much less tourists and the prices for food and drinks were much cheaper.

We walked around the old city center, climbed one of the Old town gates…while Tommy and Luciano were making friends with the girl who was selling the tickets for the gate haha

one of the funniest things in Dali, was to see couple of older women, dressed in traditional dress, who between teh suvenirs they were selling, were actually offering weed for sale haha
