Sham Shui Po and another CS dinner

Day 153: Hong Kong

Today we were supposed to meet Luciano at railway station at 11 am. But unfortunately, after drinking and playing poker yesterday till 5 am, I just forgot about that! :-D We woke up at 12.00 and went to the internet, where I saw an angry email from Luciano, who was waiting for us for 2 hours on the station and finally has decided to go discover Hong Kong by himself.

Ok, we wrote him that today at 7 pm we have CS dinner, organized by Vivian, and hopefully we see him there…

We took the subway and went to another electronic area in Hong Kong – Sham Shui Po, where Juli bought a 500 GB hard disk, for 580 HKD (around 58 euros). Now I store all my pictures made by the new (old Sera’s) camera :-D

After shopping we had noodle soup at some local place and went to the meeting point for dinner, Jordan MTR station. We met Vivian, Michael, other couchsurfers and finally, Luciano! :-D

It was a big dinner, since there were around 20 couchsurfers there and the food was delicious. The name of the restaurant is Beijing and the food is from Beijing area.

After dinner we went to a pub, had some beers (and used the usual practice – buy at 7/11 beer and refill) and then one of the guys, proposed to go some other place.

After 20 minutes walking, the group has decided just to buy some beers in the shop and drink them on the street, not going anywhere :-D

We stayed till about 2am, took taxi and went to Michael’s place. Btw, since Luciano’s host, was too serious for him and was going to bed every day at 10 pm, we asked Michael if he can stay with us in the flat (the English couple has left already, so there was plenty of space). Michael has agreed and Luciano was coming with us to the 5 stars apartment :-D
