Nha Trang

Day 102
Dalat – Nha Trang

Next stop in our trip was one of the famous and most touristy places on the Vietnamese coast - Nha Trang. After check out, our bus picked us up at 12:00 at the hotel

Zoe, Amy and a family of czechs were leaving today as well, on the same bus (since we had same open bus ticket from the same tourist agency :-) We waited in hotel's lobby until bus finally came.

Somewhere in the middle of the way to Nha Trang, the bus stopped as usual, for dinner. Some of us had a drink, some had some food, but finally after 1 hour we were ready to go....but the bus left and wasn't coming...The family which owned the restaurant, somehow put Boney M. music on and played it for 2 hours non stop, when we finally said "STOP PLEASE!!".

In the same place, they had a pet - little monkey, which kept us busy for a while, playing and jumping on us :-D

People were getting nervous, since we were waiting for 3 hours. The girl from the bus said - "don't worry, the driver went home and please understand him, he hasn't seen his wife for 4 days hahaha" Finally bus came back and we continued the way to Nha Trang.

As expected we have arrived to Nha Trang late in the dark and it was difficult to look for the place to stay. However, we did not want to take the hotel where the bus droped us out (we were so angry on the driver and this delay!!).

After couple of meters walking we decided to stay in the hotel called
Hoang Ha, for 8 USD/double room with fan, which was not bad :-D Amy and Zoe came to the same hotel with us and one Irish guy, called Owen, joined us too (he came on the same bus and has decided to join the crowd :-D

Later on this evening, we went out - us, Luciano, Gaili, Zoe, Amy and Owen and had a bottle of Vodka Hanoi and some beers just on the street table, besides a street vendor, playing all kinds of silly games, including imitating of animals sounds haha
