Around Dalat

Day 101

Dalat

Today we have decided just to take it easy, don't do any trips or excursions, and just walk around the town.




This is the main square, where you can see all kind of sellers, street restaurans etc

The famous thing about Dalat is it's strawberries. Due to the climate, not hot, not cold, they can grow easily and make the jam, which is also famous here :-)

Another good thing about Dalat, is that this is the one and only place in South East Asia, where you can drink local wine and it is not that bad :-D
The town is really pretty and easy to walk around....





This is one of the most common snacks in Asia - sticky rice (inside the leaves of course :-D It has to be cooked like this for 4 hours and then...it becomes sticky haha

Asian people do not eat bread (well except Vietnam and especially Dalat, which was full of French bakeries :-D Instead of bread normally is used sticky rice.


Later we had a dinner and a drink with Zoe and Amy in the Peace cafe.
