Day 218: Ulaanbaatar
We successfully arrived to UB at 1 pm, a girl form Khongor guesthouse met us and we went straight to the hostel. On the train we met an Israeli guy, Nir, who also came with us to the hostel and also wanted to join for a trip around Mongolia.

Ulaanbaatar is pretty ugly town, nothing special at all, besides the HUGE screen they put on the main square to watch the World Cup :D
Curiously in Ulaanbaatar, all the hostels are kind of made of apartments in the normal buildings and it seems to me they are not so legal :D

After checking prices in different hostels in the city (UB Guesthouse, Gobi travel, Nassan), we figured out that Khongor prices were the best :-D Also in one of these guesthouses we met two girls (Marketa from Czech Republic and Kati from Slovakia), who also wanted to join us on a trip. And last but not least member of the team was Milana, a girl from Israel that Nir met in one of the hostels on the way.
So finally we were 6: Me, Juli, Nir, Milana, Marketa and Kati and the tour we chose was 8 days trip to the Central Mongolia, starting on 3rd of August.
The price was 29 USD/person/day, including driver, English speaking guide (who was also cook), 3 meals a day and all entrances in National parks and Monasteries.
Tomorrow we were taking a day off and the day after tomorrow was the first day of the trip!
