Suzhou

21 June

Day 208: Suzhou

We arrived to Suzhou in the morning and went directly to Adam’s place.

Juli met Adam in Atlanta, a year ago, at Couchsurfing meeting. After couple of months, the company where Adam works transferred him to Shanghai – what a coincidence!!! :-D

We planned to stay with Adam till Wednesday and then go back to Shanghai, pick up our passports with Russian visas, do some shopping and take a train on 24th morning to Beijing.

Adam’s apartment was really big and comfy, and the most important thing it had a BIG TV to watch World Cup :D

Today we went to Tiger’s hill, one of the main attractions of Suzhou, and walked around the garden and temples.

Later at night, Adam took us to a Japanese restaurant, where you can eat and drink (beer and soft drinks) as much as you can for just 100 yuan (around 10 euros) – can you imagine that?? :-D We ate lots of Japanese dishes, sushi and sake and pleased went home :-D

And later Juli saw Spain wining Honduras 2:0 on the big screen in Adam's place :D
