Dumplings, haircut and night out in Shanghai

19 June

Day 206: Shanghai

In the morning Dave and Jane took us to taste local dumplings…yummy!!!

and later Juli got his wonderful haircut, arguing with Chinese lady hairdresser which did not understand why he is not pleased haha

Later some cultural visit to the Budhist temple.

And after the temple, to a tea house to taste some local teas :D

At night we prepared some mojitos at Dave’s place.

....and then went out with a bunch of Couchsurfers to couple of local discos: a Mexican place called “Zapatas”, another night club I don’t remember the name and finally “Velvet”.

For me it was an interesting experience, since I could see something similar to Eastern European discos – lots of local girls, searching for love or trying to sell their service to foreigners and lots of foreigners drunk and out of control looking for girls :DD

The music was good, but the whole this atmosphere was kind of disgusting. It was something similar to Thailand, probably a bit more civilized, but still same style.
