Arrival to Everest!

Happy birthday, Luciano!!! In front of mount Everest, we sang a song to Luciano (it was the end of the day....looong day!! :-D

We drove to the ticket office, buy tickets (180 Yuan per person, car entrance fee is included in our package) and the ground road starts. The trip is really tiring and hard, especially for Juli with his neck ache. This is a sign of km 500 of the Friendship highway that leads to Nepal.

And this is a marvelous toilet that was at around 5000 km altitude (I was feeling completely dizzy going there haha)

Long long way to Everest, and all the beautiful views....

Finally we arrived to the Everest base camp, actually to the tents where we are going to spend the night (Base camp is about 10 minutes drive by bus from here)

We took the bus and for 25 Yuan and 10 minutes we are here!!!

Evest bas camp!!!! (Unfortunately it was a bit cloudy and we couldn't see the whole mountain)

Finally we arrived to our tent and got some dinner, cooked by our guide (she was the only one who knew all our food preferences haha)
