Around Hanoi

Day 112
Hanoi

We had some breakfast and then agreed to meet with Vang and Tony to go around the city. Alex (the canadian guy from Halong bay trip), has decided to stay in the same hotel with us and shared a room with Luciano. He was coming to Sapa with us.

Walking around Hanoi city center...

We decided to visit Ho Chi Min mausoleum and were walking towards it...

example of the bomb attacks during the war....

Catholic church...

Finally we got to the masoleum square...

Unfortunately it was closed, so we could take a "japanese style" picture on the square in front of it:DD

Giramos la esquina hacia el bosque de Bambú.

Nest stop - ‘One Pillar Pagoda’ - nothing impressive...well, one pillar :-D

After masoleum we grabbed some fast dinner and mini van picked us up from the hotel and took to the tourist agency, to wait for the bus to Sapa.

We waited for 1,5 hours and when the bus finally came and the passengers took their seats, the driver and people from the agency took some people who just sat on the floor......and like this the whole way to Sapa.
