Day 79
Bangkok
It was freezing inside the bus due to the air con which was around 16ºC and everyone tried to put on some more clothers (and outside the bus it was like +30C)
Finally, around 6 am we arrived to Bangkok and the bus droped us on the main road, 2 min walk from Khao San Road. As usual, Tuk-Tuk drivers came and tried to offer us a ride to Khao san road (which they said was around 10 min driving) - yeah...Welcome to Thailand! :-D
We had to wait till 8 am, when finally hotels were opening their doors for visitors and then pretty fast I found a nice hotel on Rambuttri street. The place was called Green House Hotel, which had a nice sunny room, private bathroom and the price was just 550 baht (11 euros). The only problem that I did not noticed first, was the bed, which was so hard that I thought my bones will break haha
We were so tired after the bus, that even this awful bed did not stop us to sleep till evening :-D And later we went for some dinner.
some seefood, cheap and good, as almost everywhere in Thailand.
Later, after dinner we met couple of couchsurfers for drinks, where 5 of them were Spanish - traveling around and even living in Thailand :-D
