Day 21: Sydney
In the morning we took the train and went to see Sydney Opera house – finally!
It was nice and sunny day, we took 100 pictures with Opera and were enjoying the day and views.
Luciano, our Argentinian friend from Barcelona, who is also traveling around met us later at the opera.
We chatted and had a walk to Darling harbour and then Chinatown, just walking across Sydney streets and enjoying the view.
This city seems to be wider, bigger, more open space than Melbourne, but as well more populated and more hectic. We chatted wth Luciano and were complaining to each other how expensive Australia actually is :-D The truth is that for a traveller, who wants to visit many places during short period of time and doesn't have lots of money, Australia is not the best place to go. Transportation, food, drinks are extremely expensive. Can't believe I was complaining about price for beer in Japan, here is worse! A can of beer in the supermarket is around 2 australian dollars (1,5 euro) and pack of cigaretts is 9 australian dollars (around 6,5 - 7 euros). My God!!! And here we can't find cheap onigiri and green tea in the market, the food is extremely expensive and if you don't go to the restaurant be prepared to hamburgers and all junk fast food. yeah...
