Discovering Melbourne

Day 17: Melbourne

Fist thing in the morning we took the train and went to see Melbourne city.

We crossed the bridge over the river, took pictures with nice view and took the free shuttle bus to see other parts of the city.

Visited Queen Victoria Market, Fitzroy gardens and Conservatory full of flowers. The day was beautiful and we really enjoyed the city.

At night Juli cooked Spanish omelet and we had a quiet dinner with a glass of wine.

Next day we had to pick up a rented car and go explore Great ocean road. On Couchsurfing I have posted a proposal to join the trip and we got two girls who were joining us for the trip – Ashley (from States) and Nikki (from Denmark).

Same day I got a text message from Jessica, local CS-er, who was organizing a CS party at her summer house on Great Ocean Road and she invited all of us to join them. Great! We rented a car for 2 days and supposed to exlore Great ocean road, see koalas and kangaroos (Paul explained us all the spots where we can see them) and finally join the party – what a great plan!
